Once on the ship we enjoyed ourselves, weather wasn’t great and sea was a bit rough but this can’t be helped. We enjoyed the food and many activities aboard. Horizon is a nice ship, this was our first sailing on a vista class.

Worst I have ever experienced. There was a delay due to weather which I totally understand. However we were told to come for boarding 5 hours late when we arrived at our time there was a line more than 2 lengths of the ship long. We stood in line a total of 3 more hours. Didn’t get on the ship until 8:00 pm. Didn’t feel like 25 dollars a person was enough compensation for basically missing a whole day on the ship.

We enjoyed pig and anchor, bonsai topenyaki, and the dining room. Buffet was okay.

Shows were okay, not the best I have seen. We did enjoy the sky ride, ropes course and other sports square activities.

Stage shows were okay, they did do a special show for Christmas.

Our 9 year old enjoys camp ocean. Appreciate the staff they were great.

Room steward was great, cleaned our room while we were at breakfast everyday. Wait staff was all good no issues there. Even casino staff was quick in bringing drinks.

Size and comfort was fine for an interior,
Layout was good. This room was a bit noisy. Can’t figure out what was above us that was a lot of banging, it was a dead zone on the ship map.
Ship tip
Yes pig and anchor and the bonsai hibachi cost extra at dinner but totally worth it.
Totally deserved this wonderful debarkation after the bad getting on experience. We were the first muster station called for luggage carry off right at 7:45. We were in an Uber at 8:00.
Zups the playlist shows were a cuban themed show, Celestial strings, one that was like 20’s flapper girl costumes but modern music can’t remember the name of the show and a Christmas show last week.
Matthew8510 Pasion Island is clean and well kept plenty of seats and loungers. Food and drink is okay.. I have been to Passion Island a couple of others times and it was a bit more crowded, this particular day it was not. However it was very windy and sea conditions were not ideal. Was not safe to do any more than wade to your knees. The staff is friendly and appreciative of your business.
