Review summary

I was very excited about cruising on the Carvinal Horizon of the Vista Class since our 2020 cruise on the Vista was canceled due to COVID-19 both times. The ship was nice; but often felt crowded and hot in certain areas like the Marketplace Buffet. Our Steward Mary Ann was great. She made sure we were comfortable especially when we were having problems with our air conditioning. I truly enjoyed our itinerary Aruba, Bonaire, La Romana, and Amber Cove.

Our room steward Mary Ann was great; she helped with anything we needed. She even provided us with a fan for our room since we were having problems with our air conditioning. When we informed the maintenance staff; they stated the air conditioning met the regulations. Yet, our room was still felt hot.

Disembarkation

The disembarkation was very unorganized and managed poorly by Carnival Horizon Staff members. There were continuous delays with the disembarkation process at times to the point. People were at a stand still for over 30-45 minutes in stairwells and plus it was super hot. We did not make it outside Terminal D until 1043am.
