It was a good cruise. First time on Carnival. Not a bad experience. I prefer Princess though.
Embarkation

Very organized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We mostly ate at the buffet. We did enjoy the Italian restaurant and the BBQ restaurant at lunch since we didn't have to pay then. I would kot have paid extra for dinner at these restaurants. Food was good but not worth having to pay extra for it. The choices for dinner in the dining room, to me, were just ok, mostly seafood, which I don't eat. Small portions and beef dishes were very fatty.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We did enjoy the pool quite a bit. A couple of days it was breezy and felt good. The last day was miserably hot. Would be nice to have misting fans around for those kinds of days. The sky track was shut down most of the time because of breezy conditions. Bummer. We played BINGO and did trivia several times.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We went to each of the shows on board in the main lounge. I've been on other ships where entertainment was better.
Children's Programs
No kids with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff was great. Our cabin steward, Avert, was fantastic.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was constantly being cleaned.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was wonderful. It does need more outlets though. My husband uses a Cpap and although a brought an extension cord, it was not long enough to stretch across the room. Our cabin steward saved the day. All rooms should have more than 1 outlet plug.
