This was our first experience cruising and we will definitely do it again!

Food and Dining

We enjoyed everything we tried. The banana bread at breakfast was my favorite. We are easy to please if we don’t have to cook! If you checked in early for Main Dining , then there was no wait. The one night that we were told the wait was 110 minutes turned into only an hour. Loved the fish tacos at Blue iguana.
Onboard Activities

Trivia games were popular with our group and the water slides. We found some quiet deck areas to enjoy the breeze and scenery. The pools are just too crowded, but that was expected. The Mini golf, foosball, and corn hole were also fun. Every time we tried to do the Aerial bikes, they were closed. The Serenity deck is really nice in the evening.
Entertainment

We enjoyed several of the shows and the violinists. Never made it to the comedy shows. The movies on deck at night were enjoyable except for the last night. We didn’t think it was appropriate for children even tho they were in the pool and not paying attention.

Our grandson and his friend liked the Ocean Club a lot.

You were always treated so well by all the staff. Ghandi was a great room steward.

The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of room for all that we brought along.
Our room steward, Ghandi, was great!
We went to a resort for the day. It was very nice and the beaches and water are gorgeous. It was easy to get a taxi and it was no more expensive than using the public buses (there were 5 of us).
We did the bike excursion through Carnival and thoroughly enjoyed it. A great way to see some interesting and pretty parts of the island. My daughter and her husband did a snorkeling excursion and said it was amazing. Too bad our time there was so short.
We just enjoyed the port area. The grandkids loved the pools and it was nice that the pools were so much bigger. A couple of us did the zip lining which was fun.
It was crowded but totally what I expected. No different than an airport experience. We opted to take our own luggage. The only issue was getting out of the parking garage! Not sure what the bottle neck was, but it took over an hour to get out of there.
Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising. Appreciate your informative and detailed review of both the ship and the ports of call. Glad you enjoyed your first cruise. Hope your next one is even better.
