Review summary

This was my 5th cruise. Carnival Horizon is the nicest ship I have been on so far, but in my opinion, the entertainment at night was lacking compared to other ships. Overall had an excellent time for my daughter's spring break trip.

Food in MDR was good. Buffet not so great, not much selection. Loved Guys Burgers and pizza, but pizza line was always long and slow.

Onboard Activities

Didn't do many activities, mostly lounged by the pool. Loved the Tides pool area in the back of the boat.

Entertainment

Not as many production shows as I'm used to. Went to 2. One was ok, the 2nd was awesome. Enjoyed the violinists in atrium. They were amazing!

Was worried about safety so we stayed close to the port. Hounded by locals as soon as leaving the ship. Beach was ok, but we made the most of it and still had a blast.

Went to Paradise Beach. Excellent food and service. Best port for shopping.
