Over all it was a great cruise, there were a few things that irritated us. But all in all we are already looking at the next cruise to come!

The main dining room service was horribly slow. At no fault to the wait staff, they were doing the best they could. In total it took us on average 2 hours to eat in the main dining room, we were only a party of 2. We went on a cruise on the Marci Gras last July and we were able to eat with a party of 20 in that time frame. Between the short staff and new system if took food forever to get out of the kitchen and to our table. Even then by the time the food got out the wait staff was running so crazy I ended up waiting 30 minutes for baked potato toppings. Again, this is to no fault of the actual wait staff they were wonderful and doing the best they could with the ratio of servers to the large amount of tables they had. At one point I counted and figured our staff had about 15 tables in total several of which were parties larger that 6. They deserve a raise if these are the conditions they have to work in.

The only thing that gives this cabin a poor rating is that it is right under the lido deck, assuming our travel advisor didn’t know that when she booked it. We heard EVERYTHING the deck parties were horrid, I though the ceiling was going to cave from the jumping going on. I could feel the vibrations laying in bed and the jumping/music was so loud we could not sleep. When there was not a party all we could hear was the dragging of deck chairs all night. Eventually the dragging of chairs stopped as we called gust services. They offered us another room but by then it was midnight and I was not changing rooms. Guest services made it a point to reach out to us multiple times to apologize for the noise and see how we were doing and they comped a massage I had in the spa, which was not asked of but that just shows their wonderful customer service.

We waited forever, they said we would be able to disembark at 7am. We did not get off until around 7:45. We had to stand around for 45 minutes with all of our luggage as it took a lot longer than we were originally told.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. After so many mistakes we try to always try to have cabins above and below us. You can check yourself by looking at a ship’s map; available on this APP. Better luck next time.

That is not the ships fault that you had to wait to disembark. They had to be cleared by the port before any passengers can leave the ship and that takes time.

You got a bad cabin assignment, made by your travel advisor because they were probably not familiar with. It’s important to use someone who is experienced in cruises and you won’t get a bad room assignment. There are plenty of online advisers that you can search that will give you all the information you need to make sure you pick only a good cabin

Glad you enjoyed most of it. With so many people using self debarkation now, it’s best to let the Cruise Line take care of your luggage, relax onboard, then casually walk off after others have departed.
