We had such a great time on this cruise! We loved all of the ports on this cruise and could not pick a favorite. The ship is really nice with lots of things to do and plenty of great food and drink options. I would highly recommend the western Caribbean cruise on the horizon and will definitely be back!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was smooth and easy. We arrived a little early for our appointment time and went through the early/late line with no issues.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Drinks were great! We got the cheers package and had lots of great options to choose from at all the bars and restaurants. The food was really good overall. A few things we didn’t care much for here and there but you can always just try something else.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We loved the comedy shows, nightclub, pools, hot tubs, and many bars around the ship. I wish we had longer to have checked out more of the activities on board!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the comedy shows and night club!
Service and Staff

All of the service was great! The staff was super friendly and
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I really liked the ship’s layout except for not having through access on deck 3. Other than that it was easy to navigate. The common areas were well-maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Overall the comfort, size, and cleanliness of the cabin were good. There was enough space for the two of us to move around and the bed was comfortable.
We had a great time in Miami the day before we set sail. We checked out North Bay Village, the wharf, and little Havana and they were all great! We did not do an excursion, we just explored on our own.
The port was nice and easy to get on and off the ship. Be aware that the local vendors outside can be very persistent. Do not take anything they hand you unless you intend to buy it and it is best to just keep walking even though it feels rude. We did the dolphin swim and Dunn’s River Falls excursion and it was amazing!! Highly recommend if you want to do multiple activities. It was a busy day but didn’t feel rushed as we still had about an hour at dolphin cove to hang out and 30 minutes to shop in the local village.
Best beach I’ve ever visited! We took a bus to seven mile beach and the water was so clear and the beach was so nice! It wasn’t very crowded and cleared out well before we had to head back to the ship. Only downside is there aren’t many places to get food or drinks nearby on the beach itself.
We didn’t actually get off at this port as we took the ferry over to the mainland for the ancient ruins of tulum excursion. If you’re interested in history this is a great excursion! The ruins were really cool and we learned a lot. There was a good amount of travel time between the ferry and the bus, but it was so worth it! We also got really good Mexican food near the ruins at Frosty’s. We paid $12 each for a margarita and entree for lunch.
We didn’t want to leave but the process was very quick and easy. I was surprised they didn’t need us to show our passports or do anything with customs but it made the process very easy.
