Review summary

This was a group cruise for me, there were around 40n people. It was filled with many activities including a vow renewal. The downside to this, it was very hard coordinating things as not everyone had the internet package and carnivals app was not working properly.

Most people say they don't like Miami Cruise Port, it is too busy. For me, it was outstanding! All the people running around with the excitement of all the adventures that they were just on or just going on!

All food venues on Carnival Horizon were great. Food was on par. I love and prefer going to the specialty restaurants.

Cucina del Capitano

This was first time experiencing this restaurant. I was blown away with the quality and taste of food we had. I was with my cabin mate and another couple. I got to sample a little of everyone's meal, scrumptious. Our server, I cannot remember her name (I think maybe polish or Russian). She made our dinner quite entertaining, by making me blush with some jokes and making us all laugh.

Cookie the Cruise Director made my cruise the most memorable cruise ever. He was non stop engery and a ball of fun to be around. I cannot wait to meet him again on ship, you know it will be memorable and fun.

This was my first time in a balcony cabin. I was also sharing with a cabin mate. These are the most sought after cabins. I enjoyed the balcony cabin. But, not being a sun worshiper, or not liking it too hot (I'm Canadian)I didn't use it much at all. Truthfully, I don't mind interior cabins.
