Review summary

I didn't think I was going to like this ship because I don't like its sister the Vista. I was thoroughly surprised. The elevators with make you curse but other than that, we really enjoyed the ship.

Thank you for the Vista comparison. We didn't like Vista either, but we missed a port, and others were rushed along with the debarkation from hell I am so excited now....

The elevators are at their worst on embarkation day when they shut down many for luggage distribution. After that they work fine. People just need to figure out the system and many don’t even try. They’d rather complain.

Been on both Vista and Horizon also. Here is what I heard about the way the elevator works. Of you see your deck has been selected still select it again. The technical system will determine how many elevators will need to stop at that floor.

Like us, you probably had a smaller passenger component, making the Horizon a lot more fun than at full capacity! Once you get the elevator system worked out, it isn’t too bad. Glad you enjoyed your cruise last August!
