I always have a good experience on Carnival. Between the activities and entertainment you should not get bored.

I picked a time of 11-1130 to check in. It seemed like 1000 other people were given the same time or no one was really checking. The line was slow and we had to wait even longer once we did check in because they were slow checking passengers in upstairs.

I only ate in the main dining room once. I ate at Fahrenheit Steak house and Ji Ji's. Both were excellent. On Lido deck we ate tacos, pizza, and burgers which are always good to me.
Onboard Activities

I went to the gym which was surprisingly busy. I also did the bamboo massage. We also did the comedy show, bingo, sports trivia, karaoke, I Max theater, obstacle course, and whatever else we could find to do.

I did not watch any of the stage shows and barely paid attention to the DJ

My room steward was great. The waiters were extremely nice and informative. The young lady doing the excursions was very helpful since I booked last minute and some sold out.

Very well maintained and I always saw someone around wiping or sweeping to keep things clean and sanitized

The room steward was very good about keeping our room clean and with fresh washcloths daily. The bed was comfortable. I thought room was a little smaller than I thought for the 4 of us but we made it work. Ill probably do a suite next time.
Ship tip
Only advice I would give is to book excursions early. They do sell out.
There was not a lot to see compared to other places I have been. The beaches are clean and beautiful. Tour took us to a section called Hell. That was a Hell of a waste of time.
Did the Mayan ruins on the Mainland. Had to take a 40 minute shuttle from the ship and then another 30 to 40 minute ride to the ruins. That's not including the same time to get back to the ship. The actual excursion is about 3 to 3 1/2 hours if you do not include shuttles. Our tour guide was very informative. While you get to see and take pictures of the ruins, you DO NOT get to explore them. If you are looking to go inside do not waste your money.
