Food and Dining

Except for Guy's Burgers, food was very horrible. Tasteless, very limited choices, poor service and mixed up orders in the main dining room. Only late night option was pizza and the line was outrageous

Very few options. Havana area was nice because it was not as crowded but we paid extra to be in Havana section

Only decent entertainment was the comedians but they venue was too small so you could not get a seat unless you lined up at least a half hours before the doors opened. Then you had to wait another half hour for the show to start

Dining room staff were nice but made a lot of mistakes with the orders. Rooms were not cleaned until late afternoon.

Ship Quality

Very hard to get from one end of shop to the other. Many floors do not go through. One that did was the smoke-filled casino.

Carnival is really cutting corners. Will be going back to other cruise lines in the future.

I sailed on the Horizon on 30 May. My experience was different then yours. The Main Dining Room staff were fantastic along with our food. Once we figured out the ship’s plan…going from forward to Aft was easy to avoid the smoky casino. I do agree with the comedy show comments…the venues were too small. And you definitely had to get there 30-45 minutes early to obtain seating. Kind of sucked.
