Review summary

The ship was at 103% capacity. There were a lot of first timers and tweens/teens. The teens were causing havoc throughout the entire cruise. Security was called several times by myself. You could also overhear many conversations of others saying the same thing, as well as our room steward. About how terrible this group was all week. Including when they threatened to push us down the stairs and knocking on the door at 3am because they thought it would be fun. Other than the lack of parenting and obnoxious behavior by this age group, everything else was great!

Ship tip

We booked excursions from , with a savings voucher and we loved both beaches! In Jamaica and in Cozumel. Jamaica was glorious and had so many options of pools, drinks, food, water activities and beach sports. The travel was included and was easy and painless to find at the pier. Cozumel was a very different vibe, but was in walking distance. So incredibly easy to get to the hotel and then back to the ship. I recommend looking into these excursions not just directly from Carnival.

Parents are on vacation, they don't have to watch their children, the kids can do whatever they want, run up and down the hallways screaming any time of the day or night. We still love cruising 🛳 anyway.

Spring break is a risky time to cruise,

Moral of this story is, try to avoid cruising in March and April due to the long period of spring break madness.

Yikes. Glad you still had a good time though. This is why my husband and I love princess. 85% of the cruisers are in their 50-60s. Minus my my husband, myself and our young daughter. But it's definitely much quieter.

I’m surprised they weren’t told to leave the ship if they were that bad. That’s too bad.
