Review summary

First time cruisers with a group of 23 friends from high school from +40 years ago. Loved the sea days at the beginning and end. So glad we did excursions at all three ports!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very organized and faster than than I expected. Suitcases came to our room within a reasonable time after we did.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Used the main dining room for all dinners and once for breakfast. Very efficient.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Used the hot tub and had friends use the slide, which they enjoyed.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Saw the comedy club, participated with the 80's party(DJ Donkey got the crowd involved), band at the Pig & Anchor was entertaining, saw the singers perform along the spiral staircase. Always something going on.

Children's Programs

No kids in our party of 23 adults.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward I Putu was always pleasant & accommodating. The bartender Hans at Serenity Bar remembered us after the first day and knew us by name. He is a great asset.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Being a relatively new ship it was very comfortable wherever we were. Our room was efficient and easy to organize our belongings. The common areas were always well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was nice to have a balcony to see where we were when arriving in port. The room was very efficient & organized. The bed was comfortable. We were glad to have a small couch to sit on. The balcony was worth it.

Ship tip

Pack less!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Stayed in South beach before the trip. Took advantage of the airboat ride(which was not in Everglades National Park) & shuttle to the airport excursion on debarkation day.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Went on the Bob Marley tour. Loved seeing the countryside of Jamaica. Interesting tour, great history of Bob Marley and his family, definitely not for kids. Had a Jamaican standoff with another bus on the one lane road-we won! They had to back up to let us by. Food at the end was forgettable. Tour was lively and lots of fun!

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Went to The Gatsby House. Food was good, location was relaxing, ocean views were great, even walked the beach shelling. Snorkeling was done off the deck, better to bring your own gear instead of renting. Nice and relaxing, our group was the first one there.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Sailed, snorkeled and beach day. Very friendly crew on the catamaran. Nice to get free beer and margaritas. Snorkeling was average but fun. There was a charge for the photos. The beach area was crowded but the hammocks were relaxing. The water slide was fun.

Disembarkation

We put our suitcases out the last night to be picked up since we were going on an excursion in Miami and then to the airport. Going through customs was all facial recognition so it was fast & easy. Have breakfast before you get off.
