Review summary

I used the Carnival Splendor on my first cruise so the Carnival Horizon was to big for me. I am already planning my next cruise so overall, it was nice.

Buffets were so crowded, we had anytime dining so we never knew where we were dining. I never ate breakfast in a dining room because I didn't know where to go. Elegant night was very crowded and we had a group of eleven so we waited for an hour on both nights to eat. I did enjoy guy's burgers and the omelette station.

Onboard Activities

I loved the activities on the 12th deck, fitness center, sauna, serenity whirlpool, library bar and the casino.

Entertainment

Performers were great...finding them was a quest. I didn't like using each room for something different each night. The same music was played the majority of the cruise. I mean how many times do you need to wobble.

I did enjoy the christmas show put on by the children.

Service and Staff

I never met my room steward at all. I could tell he came the room was done daily, I just would have liked to meet him. We had a large group and someone was forgotten or food placed wrong each night. I had very good service at all of Guy's stations and at Pixels.

Very clean, we did have an incident with slippery floors ( no signs out). I never got lost so the layout worked for me.
