Review summary

The horizon ship is very choppy. The elevators are ridiculous. You chose your floor and repeat for how many people you are with. Good luck waiting on it! We had to climb 7 flights of stairs to get to lido daily. Better hit the gym before you cruise. Food was ok in the MDR. The buffet on lido was not good. We either ate at blue iguana,pizza or guys burgers. Thank goodness we had the family harbor lounge to eat breakfast if we didn’t go to the MDR. Our suite 2417 was good size and had good closet space. We loved our large cove balcony. We had a great time. The ship was very over crowded which considering its discounted rate was to be expected for oct.

Snorkel and beach excursion! Had a blast and the water was crystal clear with lots of fish. Megal was our snorkel guide and he was great!

Thanks so much we will be cruising next year on the Horizon. I here great things about this ship. So when you hear negative things you don't know what to think. I guess you have good day s and some not so good. 😆

It's a shame the elevators didnt work for you, sorry it was a bad experience. We were on Horizon this year and never had an issue all week! It was awesome. As a matter of fact we were just on Royal's Symphony of the Seas last month and their elevators are always packed and I mean elbow to elbow!! Or you wait...and wait.... I dont enjoy someone's musk on me.😖 We go on Oasis class ships every year and deal with it. We were telling everyone on Symphony how great Horizon's elevator system was and Royal needed to learn from Carnival and we ran into some people who also had been on Horizon and agreed. I do agree with the buffet, its terrible. On Royal you have so many options for all 3 meals. So we know for next year to eat everywhere else but the buffet.🤣 We are booked on Horizon again for next year and skipping Royal for the 1st time.😁
