Fun trip! We appreciated the opportunity to have cruised within 2 weeks of booking this trip! Loved our ports of call and the excursions we chose. Will probably go back to RC for next cruise but this one was just what we needed!

We arrived early and boarded earlir than expected, which surprised me. Organized well. Way too many people crammed together once onboard, though.

abundance of food in buffet, we tried the Italian restaurant for lunch and it was delicious! Salad bar was just okay as the offerings were basic, not what I had experienced on two past cruises with Royal Caribbean. I am a salad snob, so I’m sure most people were satisfied with their choices. Since I eat clean and simple, I didn’t eat the comfort foods offered. The dining room food was just ok, too. Selections were there for meat and fish eaters but not variety for vegetarians. Same choice every night (Indian vegetarian option) is not my idea of fine dining at all. I had the chicken cutlet the last night. Very plain and almost processed tasting. Desserts were interesting but nothing spectacular. Service was excellent, so it made for a fun and pleasant dining experience! I noticed the outdoor burger and taco restaurants very crowded and difficult to maneuver around the lines when walking to the outdoor pool-whirlpool areas.
Onboard Activities

We had manicures the first day onboard which were great! I tried the one water slide with the tube, which was a blast! Other than that, we found the Serenity area (adults only) a safe haven for us compared to the “fun” areas of the ship!
Entertainment

Disappointed in there wasn’t a Broadway style show onboard.
We did go to a late night comedy show one night which was fun. Watched a movie on the lido deck one night. My favorite spot was the Havana Bar with the Latin band! Great entertainment and dancing!

Superb service! Shoutout to Walter,waitstaff supervisor and Gerard. They made our dining experience outstanding! Our room was alway clean and welcoming to return to at the end of the day. All service personnel worked hard and were friendly.

Clean! Tiny! Only 4 stars bc the head clearance on the bottom bunk bed wasn’t sufficient for sitting up straight. I found that uncomfortable. Otherwise, no complaints.
Ship tip
It’s called the “Fun” ship for a reason..lots of kid friendly, young adult type things to do.
Stingray City and snorkel with and Starfish tour with shore excursions. Excellent! Highly recommend this tour. Wonderful guide. Photographer onboard who will take excellent photos of you and The stingrays for high price.
Our favorite one! Took shore excursion of snorkel/rum punch hangout on beach /Playa Mia lunch buffet and beach tour. Onboard El Magnifico with awesome guide, Carlos! He and his crew were fabulous! Highly recommend. Food at Playa Mia was pretty mediocre but the place is beautiful! Lots to do there. But we only had 1 hour until we needed to leave. Well organized from the time we walked and found out tour operator, off the port area. Completely safe and good. We had to wait for all groups to arrive on the boat so we did wait a long time until we left the port for the hour boat ride but worth it in the end!
