They list the times of the different eateries on your FunTimes. We always plan in advance on whether we will have lunch on the ship or in port pending on what we are doing for the day. As far as embarkation it’s been 2 years since we sailed out of Miami (sailed out of Port Canaveral my past 2 Carnival Cruises)and at that time it was my least favorite embarkation port. With that said Carnival has streamlined their embarkation process with the arrival times and boarding groups so it’s smoother now than how it used to be. If you try Horizon or Vista again consider booking a Havana Stateroom. They have an Havana Pool for folks booked in the Havana Staterooms. You won’t find small children since you have to be 12 and older to book those rooms.
