Review summary

SO happy with our choice. We will use Carnival over and over again. Horizon is an amazing Boat. Its like a floating city. Had 5000 guests on board but it didn't seem crowded at all. Even enjoyed 2 I max movies that were current released movies!

Embarkation

We are Platinum VIFP Carnival Members. We were told we could embark early. However, we ended sitting in the terminal for almost 2 hours before being allowed to board. But if that was the worst thing all 8 days, I'll take it! Great Cruise!

Every night was and awesome dining experience. We used any time dinning and still received the Same waiting Staff every night. Food was really good!

We were on the SPA deck so we enjoyed using the facilities over and over again!

The closet size surprised us. We actually lost a closet. Normally there are 2 long doors for hang up items. But we made do. It was not a game changer, we are now in love with the Spa Level!

Ship tip

Use the Spa Deck is cost a little more up front but you get to use all the Steam rooms, whirlpool, warming chairs, etc. Other guest pay close to $200 for the 8 days use. It was worth it. Its also quieter up in that part of the boat.
