If it wasn’t for the superior service by the wait team and the steward., our vacation would have been ruined.
Embarkation

I am handicapped and was in a wheelchair. We found it difficult to find where to go and the accessibility wasn’t easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Loved the dining room and our wait staff. They were superior. Remembered our names. Service was wonderful. They were helpful, attentive and always smiling. The morning and afternoon buffet was repetitive and unpleasant tasting. We were a party of 4 and hardly had food with the exception of the restaurant.
Reflection Restaurant

The menu was the same except on dress nights. We enjoyed ordering from the menu. Again our wait staff made it memorable.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Being handicapped it was difficult to do any on board activities. The pool was way too small and never was able to get a lounge chair.
Beauty Salon

My hairdresser was John. He always had room to do my hair. I am not good under pressure and he had bagged so many supplies for my hair without asking it was very costly and I ended up returning the products.
Entertainment

Only attended one show. Rather generic and repetitive.
Children's Programs

My grandsons are shy so they didn’t utilize the clubs. Would be nice if they had a meeting with the kids to show them what is available and the activities daily.

This ranch was awesome. They need to find another way home to choose the horses to go he riders more time efficiently. We didn’t have time to view the pictures.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The ships wait staff and room stewards were excellent. Couldn’t find better. Had a difficult time with the spa personnel. The guest services were also overwhelmed and unpleasant at times. It was our first cruise expected more assistance when dealing with being in a wheelchair.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
I had no bad comments as far as the cleanliness. They were always staff cleaning up late at night. The layout was difficult and not set up for people with specific needs.
Cabin / Stateroom

Too small we had an adjoining room with my grandsons. We didn’t have enough room for our luggage and the wheelchair.
Ruined? A bit dramatic. It doesn’t sound like you tried to be happy about anything. Cruise lines expect that you know how to manage any disabilities you may have aka your wheelchair or are traveling with someone who can assist you. Not sure if you were just looking for direction or someone to push you through debarkation. I agree that they shouldn’t have separated you from your grandsons. They try their best to cater to everyone but you have to keep in mind that your are on a ship and space is at a premium. We always stash our suitcases under the bed. All cruise lines offer handicapped staterooms that would offer more space for your chair, your would just need to specifically request one when booking.
