Review summary

2416 was a nightmare. Too noisy and can’t sleep. Room steward Gerry was awesome! He did a magnificent job. Specialty restaurants were awful. Fahrenheit 555, I was not impressed and food was bland. Teppanyaki was not great. Food was not good, soup blah. Shrimp appetizer was fishy.

Food and Dining

Fahrenheit 555 was just awful. Steak was dry and over cooked and no flavor or wow factor. Had the filet mignon, sad to say that Longhorn Steakhouse serves better steaks. Mushrooms for a side were just plain sautéed mushrooms. Chef brought out a special treat it was a grilled tomatoe stuffed with sloppy joe, wow seriously? Not impressed with Tepannaki either. Food was bland no wow factor. My local Japanese restaurant Sushi Rock is 100% better. Main dining room was very good and of course my favorite bars were the Havana bar and Atrium bar.

Ship tip

Make sure you are not in Family Harbor area. 2416 had noise all day and night above from galley. Bad enough you could not sleep.

Did the Dolphin swim and Dunn’s River Falls. I was upst wanted to get pictures as a family for dolphin swim but they wanted $190.00 for pics and could only pic one for $39.00. After paying almost 450 for combine excursion for 3, the pics should not be so expensive.

Never understand why the “up priced” restaurants are becoming more prevalent. I mean I DO get it—more revenue. But it gives passengers the impression of “tiered” guests & that the ship is giving 2nd rate food to others. Just a bad trend IMHO
