I have definitely had better cruises. The food was not that great and and the ports visited were not great if you want to get a chance to enjoy clean caribbean water. Also, there were parts of the ship that barely had air condition. The entertainment was amazing and ultimately made the cruise totally worth taking.

The buffets were not that great. The food choices were very limited. The breakfast buffet consisted of pork bacon, pork sausage, ham, and eggs benedict with pork. When I asked if they had turkey bacon I was told it would take 2 mins. I waited 15 min and never got my turkey bacon. The main dining was nice. However, when we went for brunch in the dining room we were seated at tables that were not that close together. There was an empty table that would allow us to be seated closer together. The individual that sat us down refused to let us sit at the table because he said the tables had different waiters. We ended up having different waiters anyway. In addition, one waiter was significantly faster. So one table was eating their food and the other still waiting. This made absolutely no sense especially since we had small children in our group.

There were a lot of activities which was very nice. I actually did not even get a chance to enjoy them all.
Entertainment

The stage shows were awesome. They were very modern and fun. I enjoyed the cruise director, Ryan Rose was the best. The entertainment saved this cruise from being a complete disaster. I also really enjoyed the dance classes offered.

The ship design was fine. The cleanliness was not that great. However, I believe that this is also due to there is no where to throw out your garbage. Carnival should add stations to put dirty cups, plates, and trash. People were leaving trash everywhere.
I have been to Grand Turk several times. I have never had such a bad experience. The were too many people on the beach hustling for money. The beach was so dirty and disgusting. There were beer bottle caps everywhere and food in the sand. We didn't want the children to even play in the sand. The umbrellas over all of the chairs was overwhelming and they made it impossible to walk. The water is also not as clean as it was when I visited in the past. This is not a port that I would want to visit again.
We just got off the ship. We loved it. Food was very good however they need more dessert choices in MDR. They have Better ones on lido deck at the buffet
