Review summary

Carnival needs to give its workers time off. They shouldnt be booking at full capacity if they dont have full staffing to accomodate the passengers. They also need to beef up security. There were 998 kids.

Embarkation

With Verifly it was about a 30 second process. Super easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Do to staff shortages, food was always room temp or cold in the MDR.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
It was your average carnival cruise trivia bingo sales at funshops

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was overworked. Not their fault. They tried their best. As always they were pleasant. You could see how tired they all looked.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship is definitely showing its age. Needs to be updated.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
I would never stay in this cabin again. It was right over the casino. Heard music 24/7. Went out on balcony, got stuck out there for about 15 minutes. Couldnt get the door to reopen to come in. Took my husband all his weight to jimmy it open. Air conditioner barely worked. Also scaulding hot water in sink and shower. Couldnt get any cold water.

Ship tip

Make sure when booking a cabin you see that you have cabins above and below you.

We did a hidden waterfall excursion. It was a ver long ride in a very bumpy vehicle over rough terrain.
