I’ve been on 10 carnival cruises and will continue to cruise with them and I’m never looking for a handout trust me I’ve spent a lot of money with carnival...all I’m saying is they could have comped a little more because of the miss flights and we also did get a chance to go one of the ports on this cruise due to weather is what we were told out of all the cruises I’ve been on with carnival this was by far the worst but it won’t stop me from cruising with them...

We were on the next sailing. We departed 17 hours late. We still had a GREAT time. They delayed our embarkation 2 hours which tells me you were delayed 2 hours. It also tells me that you booked your flight too close to your scheduled disembarking time.

Were you hurt? Was your cabin in any way affected? Were you in the dining room when it happened? If not, then count your blessings and be happy with the on board credit you got.

We were on the Glory when the accident happened - had NO idea we had hit another ship until the Captain announced it. All cabins received $100 in OBC. And from what I heard the passengers who were affected in the cabins below the dining room received either a 25% refund or a 25% discount on another cruise. We had a wonderful cruise despite the accident!! Looked like the Guest Services line was full of people complaining so they could get something out of it - pitiful. Other than the injured passengers, we really felt sorry for the crew - they were having to deal with complaints and that was stressful for them I’m sure. We love Carnival and will continue to sail with them - already have 2 booked with them in 2020. Things happen and you just have to decide to have fun and appreciate the fact that you are blessed enough to cruise in the first place! It could have been MUCH worse.

Why do you think you need to be comped? You had your cruise. Nothing was cancelled. I am on the Glory in 35 days and can not wait!

Hopefully you had a good travel insurance policy that will reimburse you for any cost related to the missed flight. If not, this is a lesson learned as to why a good travel insurance policy is needed whenever you travel.

Due to the accident I can imagine they were running a short staff. That ship was one of my top 2. Sorry to hear you missed your flight. If they did arrive late to port I can imagine it messed up alot of peoples flights.

Giving a poorer rating due to rain in a port? Really? Compensated for a freak accident that you didn't get hurt on. Always looking for a handout. Did you have to cook, clean, work, or do anything that week? Can't you find the joy in relaxing and being on vacation?

From all the reports you could hardly feel the collision anyways. Just trying to get something for free. The 6 people slightly injured will hopefull be compensated. Th rest were just along for the ride

You only show 2 cruises. Not 10. Its a great ship. You need another cruise line. Or research more....
