Review summary

We have travelled with Carnival every year for the past 6 years...... The standard that we come to expect from carnival has gone down the toilet....

the food variety has halved..... and the standard of the food is horrible now.... very dry and mushy..... the restaraunt doesnt even have table clothes except for formal night..... Dont bother getting special orders if needed because you wont get what you want anyway......

The beds are so hard that you cant sleep.

If you have noisy neighbours.... bad luck because they dont say anything about people running up and down the hallways and partying in their rooms at all hours of the night......

The entertainment....... the shows have haved..... the welcome aboard show is non existant..... the legands passanger show is non existant...

the other shows ..... I have seen so many times but now they have been cut down.... there use to be ^ dance girls and 6 dance boys and 2 lead singers and a full orchestra..... NOW.... 4 dance girls, 4 dance boys... NO lead singers.... NO orchestra......

the ship entertainment has been cut too.... they now have only accustic solos on deck... and  one couldnt hit a not all cruise

the Karaoke guy is rude and has his music up so loud that you cant  stay in the room....

The Piano bar (that is normally so much fun)... I dont know who employs these people but Jorden... the piano guy was rude, stuck up, not at all enteraining or fun in any way.... the most amount of people in the piano bar at one time was 8 which goes to show what he was like ..... all the other cruises Ihave taken the piano bar was standing room only, it s the most popular place on the ship.

Unfortunatly we took back to back cruises on the Glory.... WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!!!!

The American Table is not bad,  they use it on the Inspiration.   It depends on the waiter,  2 out of 3 times I got lucky with a good waiter  that brought us out lots of side dishes,  the 3rd time the waiter did not do much of anything.  On the Inspiration you do still get table clothes with the new Menu.

Went on the Breakaway in Feb.  Other than being TOO BIG she was nice.  We like NCL. Especially since they leave out of NY all year round.

A lot of cuts and changes on all the cruise lines

Carnival seems to be making lots of cuts and changes. Many complaints over at Funville site.  Not our favourite line anyway.  Love Princess and HAL.  Really like NCL.

Sorry your cruise did not go well. I was on the Glory in October of last year and had a great time. I am not a big fan of the shows...I usually do the comedy clubs. One question, though, is the Glory one of the four ships that have the American Table now? I am hearing bad reviews all around on it. Back in October 2013, they had tablecloths and the food was great. No tablecloths is one "feature" of the American Table along with a truncated menu.
