WORST VACATION EXPERIANCE I EVER HAD

Sail Date: September 01, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Balcony

I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE NOT TO GO ON THIS CRUISE,
MOST IMPORTANT THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS AUTHENTIC INDIAN VEGETARIAN FOOD, EVEN WHEN WE HAD TOLD REPEATEDLY WHAT WE CAN EAT AND WHAT WE CAN NOT, NOT A SINGLE DAY THEY CAN PROVIDE PROPER FOOD.
CAN YOU EVER IMAGINE INDIAN FOOD WITHOUT INDIAN BREAD..................... I STRONGLY RECOMMEND, PLEASE UNDERSTAND CULTURE AND FOOD BEFORE YOU START SERVING, THIS IS CLEAR AN INSULT TO THE INDIAN VEGETARIAN FOOD.

Pros: NOTHING REALLY

Cons: WORST FOOD YOU CAN EVER HAVE............THEY HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO MAKE INDIAN FOOD

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.

FROM DAY ONE WE TOLD THEM, THAT WE ARE STRICTLY VEGETARIAN AND WE DO NOT EAT MUSHROOM AND MY MOM DOES NOT EAT ONION, GARLIC, POTATO AND MUSHROOM. EVERY THEY DO ONE OR ANOTHER BLUNDER, EVEN ON LAST DAY THERE WERE ONION IN MY MOM RICE AND POTATO VEGETABLE,. WE HAD NO PROBLEM EXPLAINING TO CHEF OR EVEN HELPING HIM PREPARE FOOD BUT CHEF DID NOT HAVE TIME TO EVEN SPEAK WITH US. WE HAD NO SUCH MENU DURING WHOLE TRIP, EVERYTIME U SIT ON DINNING TABLE AND EAT WHAT OUR CHEF FELT LIKE MAKING FOR US . OF COURSE WE EVEN WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT PROVIDED HE HAD GOOD TASTE OF INDIAN FOOD. JUST PROVIDING PEAS SUBJI OR POTATO SUBJI OR ONLY BAINGAN (NOT BHARTA) IS WELL BELOW INDIAN STD. THIS WAY NOT ONLY THEY HURT OUR RELIGIOUS FEELING BUT SHOWS HOW MUCH THEY CARE.....TOTALY IRRESPONCIBLE.
FROM DAY 1 WE ARE ASKING FOR SOME INDIAN BREAD (LIKE NAAN, ROTI OR PARATHA) & WE WOULD BE PROMISED FOR NEXT DAY UNTILL LAST DAY , WHEN THEY TOLD US THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE CAPABILITY TO MAKE ON THIS CRUISE
