Review summary

Clean ship and attentive crew. Some food buffets better than others but lots of variety and changed daily. Emerald steakhouse was by far superior dining and for a nominal fee, very well worth it especially for a better quality of food. Cleans and well kept staterooms. Wide variety of bar options, good wine lists and martini tastings were all good. Got crowded in the pools and would be nice to have an adult only section.

Overall nice, clean. But for being launched in early 2000's looks like a cheesy 80's casino. Also the smoker area in the casino gives it a little of that stale smoke smell.

Small portside town and unless you're off the ship first thing not a lot of time to see stuff. Didn't do any excursions.. 70.00 for a pub crawl? As soon as you get off the ship, there's a welcoming area and they give you town map.. lots in walking distance. Also cabs are affordable and worth it to get near the reverse waterfalls (more like a reverse heavy river) and the jet boat ride.

Don't Miss: jet boat ride and st johns zip line.. which is not a ship excursion but you can find it online!

Pros: Lots to do at different time, attentive crew

Cons: Crowded areas during meal times
