Review summary
We have traveled on Carnival and Princess in the past and never had an issue. We found this cruise on the Glory to be substandard compared to the many other cruises we have been on. You get what you pay for; this cruise was priced less than the other cruises leaving New York and this was reflected in the food and services. It started off with us being waitlisted for the early seating. The first thing we did when we got on the ship was see the Maitre D' to request a change to early seating. The request was denied - so much for being a loyal past customer obviously our loyalty to the Carnival brand was not reciprocated. We made the best of it. We are both professionals that work early hours and our son were not up to staying up for the 10:30 shows so we did not get an opportunity to see the shows. The weather was nice and there was not much to see in the Canadian ports. Overall, the food was not good. It was not up to the level that we had experienced on past cruises. We would not recommend this cruise.Ship experiences
