What a blast! Wonderful memories!!!

Sail Date: May 16, 2010

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

Took my adult daughter on a 7 night cruise. We had a great bonding experience. Great memories! Traveled on the Carnival Glory. Check-in was painless. We recommend express check-out! Our room was spacious and the balcony was great. (Will always have to have one now!) The food was fantastic, esp the Emerald Steakhouse. All of the staff was terrific. Plenty to do even with the rain. Can't wait to do this again. Will probably book an Alaskan cruise with my husband next time!

Pros: Our waiters on the decks and in the restaurants. Met fun people!

Cons: The rain...but it didn't dampen our spirits!

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Food and Dining
The food was plentiful and tasty! Loved the Emerald Steakhouse. Had dinner there twice! Our main dining was in the Platnium Dining Room. It is located at the back of the ship. My daughter had difficulty with dining there due to the ship's motion. The food was very good.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom was comfortable, clean, and we loved the balcony.
Service and Staff
Everyone was polite, eager to please, helpful.
We played a lot of cards on deck in the shade. But that is what we enjoy doing. Lots of contests, movies on deck, activites. shows. Due to rain, we missed two ports of call. But we were really not that disappointed. Lots to do to keep us busy.
Ship Quality
Recent 3 million dollar renovation. Very clean. No complaints. Pretty ship!
Cozumel, Mexico
Swimming with the dolphins is a must at least once in your lifetime. Snorkling is great fun.
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
We enjoyed the chair lift to the beach.
