Overall we had a great time on this sailing. The ship was not the newest and most cutting edge, but we knew that coming on. So expect classic looks and entertainment. There were many food options on board and plenty to keep you busy all day. The ports of call were all great and perfect for days on the beach.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We signed up for an embarkation time ahead of the cruise and got on right on time. The entire process from entering the building to getting on the ship was less than 30 minutes.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was satisfactory. I have definitely had better food on other ships, but we had no complaints. They had a good amount of options for included food in addition to the MDR and buffet. There was also Guy’s Burger Joint, Pizza, a cantina, sandwich place, and ice cream.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The water slides were fun and never had a wait. The minigolf was fun. It is an older ship so there are not as many options for onboard activities as the larger ships such as rock climbing, ziplining, laser tag, etc.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The entertainment dswas overall good. The comedians were funny. There was nothing new and exciting in the area of entertainment. The classic love and marriage show, comedy, same musical performance we had seen on carnival ships years ago. It was done well though.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The quality of service was definitely lower than what we have experienced on last ships. There were no bad experiences but service definitely did not go out of their way for a smile or anything to make you feel like your day was extra special.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The room had plenty of space and we love the balcony. Decor is outdated but we liked the room overall.
