We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our 6th cruise with Carnival. We were sad to see it come to an end but looking forward to 2020 when we have 4 cruises booked with Carnival. We do enjoy The Freedom it is a very relaxing time for us to cruise. We always had plenty to do or not do depending on what you wanted to do and that is appealing for us. You can be as active as you want or as lazy as you want lol. Once again Carnival met all our expectations and a lot more. Thank you once again.

We dined in the main dining room numerous nights and the food was outstanding and the service great. The Buffet had plenty of options and there was always fresh food coming out.

The pool was good, the upgrade to the pool areas was really nice. We joined into lots of activities and had lots of fun and laughter.
Entertainment

The stage shows were outstanding and the entertainment crew were just great. The DJ on the Lido deck was great and enjoyed listening to his music and sounds. The comedians were funny but they kept repeating some of their shows so that was okay. We were so busy and did not sit and listen to the musicians but the violinists (3 girls) were very popular and what we did hear was great.

Our wait staff in the Chic Dining room were outstanding. Our huge thanks to Team Headwaiter Marco, Team Waiter Nathaniel and an extra HUGE thanks to Asst Team Waitress Honeylette who was outstanding each time we dined. She is a lovely lady and really friendly and our wait team made dining so much more pleasurable. Thank you to the three of you.
We met our room steward on the first day but really did not see him again but our room crew kept our room spotlessly clean and were there for anything that we needed. The only problem that we encountered was one of the guest services ladies who was very abrupt and during our interaction with her quite rude and not at all very helpful.
Ship Quality

This was our third time on The Freedom and first time since the upgrade. We enjoy being on The Freedom and the condition of the ship is great that we could see and cleanliness was always a priority of the staff. Common areas were well taken care of and clean at all times that we seen.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was kept clean at all times and we were extremely comfortable and felt right at home. We love the balcony cabins and used our balcony frequently for morning coffee and late night drinks and/or coffee and snacks. Everything in our cabin was working and we had no issues and slept really well.

Enjoy all that you can and experience the fun and join in the activities there is so much fun to be had
We did enjoy being in a port till night, this was the first time we had done that and it was fun. The first time we had seen The Freedom in all lights and it looked amazing. The excursion we did was Catamaran Sail, Snorkel & Beach and it was a nice time. The crew were friendly and helpful and certainly took the safety of everyone in hand. We enjoyed Costa Maya for our first time there.
We had a great time and loved the shopping area there. We did the Jolly Roger Catamaran Sailing & Snorkel with Lunch and had a FABULOUS time. This excursion was just so great and the crew were outstanding and took care of our day from start to end. This was our first time to Mahogany Bay and we loved it.
This was our sixth time to Cozumel but we really enjoy being in Cozumel so that was good. We love the shopping there and always have fun. We did the Beach Buggy & Snorkel and it was an awesome time. Our guide was Antonio and he had Jerry with him and they certainly took care of us at all times. Going to the other side of the island was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the beach where we went for snorkeling then the stop we had for Tequila Tasting, lunch (which was great) and the shopping. Driving around in the Beach Buggies were just so much fun, had a great time
It was a long process and took quite a while but DJ (our Cruise Director) kept us updated with what was happening and we know it is always busy. We are looking forward to making Platinum next year and hoping this will be easier :)
