Need to do your research before you book there are many different ships some people prefer the smaller older ships all depends on what you want if you want all the bells and whistles then book a newer ship we personally loved the freedom to each here own ..

Absolutely love Freedom. Been on her twice and have 2 more booked. As for Galveston, you missed out on a great city that has a lot to do and an amazing history.

What was wrong with Galveston? The Freedom was in dry dock in February this year. I always research everything about a cruise and the ports. I also check out the layout of the ship, activities and food venues. I will be on the Freedom next January for a Panama Partial Transit for 14 days. I can't wait!
