Review summary
This is what I posted on John Heald's site: This ship reminded me of all the reasons we used to cruise more than we do now...great service, short lines, great food, comfortable, spacious theaters and lounges, and even the Playlist Productions shows I generally detest were very entertaining. Seemed to be a lot more activities than normal. Punchliner was great as well, with just enough so-called "adult" language to enhance the comedy, rather than those who spill it out every other word because they can't "entertain" without it. The Piano Bar was great as always. Brad did a fantastic job as Director, Roy and assistants kept our cabin sparkling clean, and the dining room appeared to be fully staffed as 4 staff members kept our table of 10 very happy. Always got food quickly and found a seat easily on Lido as well. I understand the need for newer ships to pack as many people as possible in limited spaces with less staffing...not my cup of tea. Please keep at least one Conquest class ship in Galveston and New Orleans at all times!Embarkation
