Review summary

With this cruise I traveled with mobility issues and the embankment went well. I ended up having to rent a wheelchair which changed everything. The change in our second port was bad because their were 5 ships in this port and the dock was very long so therefore I had to stay on board. I understand the need for a change in ports but not with 5 ships in one port that is to many people. I only got to eat in the dinning room one time, we had eat our dining time and they were rude and told us they didn't have room for us. On dismemberment was awful, I ask how I was to return the wheelchair and was told to go and someone would take me off board and them someone there would take me on through. Well I sat and waited and was told to move along and I had to wheel myself all the way through customs . I ask ever person I saw to help and take the chair for return finally security took it and said they would get it returned. Through all the steps of getting off ship everyone would just say; Well someone should have helped you from the ship. Well I knew this but they didn't and this person didn't do anything to help me. I was very disappointed in my whole adventure so much that I think this might be my last cruise adventure.

Being in a wheelchair I was greeted by a pusher and he took me all the way to the ship and dropped me off. Couldn't have ask for anything better.

Only ate once in the main dining room and it was okay. The Lido buffet were good but it seemed to have about the same thing over and over. I wish room service had more of a selections.

Sorry that experience such disrespectful ship mates Someone from Cruise line needs to hear of their short coming. I drove Tours for several years and I assure you either myself or my Trip Associate would have been your legs. That's what makes a good trip. Again let the Cruise line know your disappointment. They will do better next opportunity, if you do.

I wouldnt let this change your mind on all cruises. I being a travel agent would have made sure that all parts of your vacation met the requirements for you. My son and daughter in law went on their first cruise years ago..my son was on dialysis and the ship and his doctors made special arrangements for him. He did his dialysis in his room and had room service..he had a great time and they are making plans to go next year. His first time without a machine. So sometimes we as customers have to take the extra step to inform Every one our special needs. Book another one forget about what happen. By the way my husband and i had bad ordeal in Galveston after getting off ship with port or Galveston police and picking me up with all our luggage. We are not letting that keep us from enjoying other cruises ;).

You can consider filing a complaint under the ADA. In a 2015 agreement Carnival was suppose to remediate and make provisions for accessibility. Paragraph 19, part A item G specially mentions Embarkation and Disembarkation, although it doesn't say specifically they must provide a pusher. I'm curious if you go to a hotel, shopping mall or theme park, do those establishments provide pushers? Not trying to be adversarial I'm just curious. As far as room service that is well known and could have been learned prior to boarding with research. Why didn't you eat more in the MDR? I've seen wheelchairs and scooters in the dining rooms. Ports have ships, often 5 or even more. That's cruising.
