I can not at this time recommend Carnival Freedom as a ship for anyone at this time. Maybe at a later time, after the ship has been deeply renovated will I recommend it.

The confusion with the new boarding process was bothersome. It would have been nice to have received a clear outline of the new process before arriving at the terminal.

The ship is becoming extremely dated.
They have shoved so many get your photo taken nations in to the 5th deck, it is difficult to get down the deck. Also the added music stages are always way over amplified, and make the spaces uncomfortable to be in.
Cabin / Stateroom

In our room the carpet needed to be replaced, in the shower there was mold and mildew in all of the cracks and seams. Half the time it took three or four presses of the flush button to get the toilet to flush.
Both of the sinks drained slowly. And last the A/C was never that great and often had a swage smell.
The new processes for disembarkation left many, many people upset.
Also our transfer back to the airport was horrible. We sat and waited for an hour after getting of the ship to get underway. Once to the airport the driver not only had no idea where to go, he did not speak or understand english. This is very disturbing as he should not have had the license needed to be driving the bus.
I don't understand, you want recommend the Freedom and you gave it 3 stars. I don't understand that rating. I guess you started out with expecting problems and when you encounter one it was over for you.
I was just on the ship in September and your completely retarded!!! Unless your wiping the room down with a white glove they are just fine. Probably cleaner than your house. And unless your craping put a small child the toilets flush fine. The ship is not dated it’s called a theme. Embarking was flawless and awesome we never got on so fast before. So again if you stop liking windows and coloring on them you would know that. Debarking was just as smooth. Of course there will be some back ups with 3000 people leaving. You are a complete retard!
