Getting off the ship was a breeze my problems cane outside with the port police. On my second pass through the line to get luggage I was wanting to wait for a spot to pull over but they kept waving me on. Well at the last possible moment I stopped and grabbed my luggage and my wife was about to throw the bags in the back of truck and this bully port police came over started hollering at and threaten to arrest me if I put them in the truck. I regret that I didnt just put them in and go about my way. But around the big loop I went out of the port again for the third time. Came back got a spot this time. Sent to get his name to report him and he stood right at the edge of the sidewalk so I had to stand in the road to read his bags. And then another port officer joins him and took turns telling me to get out of the road or they would arrest me. He could have stepped back and let me write his name down. After we left my wife said after I drove off from him treating to arrest me she was left in the middle of the road with all our luggage and they refused to help her move it back to the sidewalk and had to do it all herself. This was not organized they acted like they hated being there. We were people coming back from a vacation. Not drunks coming out of a bar. I'm not sure I ever want to leave from Galveston on a cruise again.
