Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The ship's main dining rooms, specialty restaurants and buffets were all outstanding---top quality. The food and drinks was excellent--fresh and cooked to perfection.

Onboard Activities

Because my husband and I are in our 79ish, we really enjoyed watching the younger crowds in their competitions and their dancing..

Entertainment

5 out of 5
we sat and watched from 7:00--11:45 pm The best of the Decades with Randy and the Funky Pilgrim at the Atrium Lobby. This group of talented musicians were really outstanding. We watched every time they preformed. We really enjoyed the magician who performed at our dining area and the waiters'dancing performance brought joy to everyone.. We were so lucky to be seated at our table with a retired Dr Michael and his wife Debbie ,who were diamond celebrity couple , They shared their exciting memorable experiences aboard their Carnival cruises. If we would have met them sooner, we would have started our cruises a long time ago.

Children's Programs

We did not have children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our deck 1 stateroom Steward, Imade Murina was the most helpful, thoughtful, and kind person- He greeted us with a smile and a greeting with our name that made us feel comfortable and completely cared for. The other steward, Mohammad also was very helpful. Hotelsteward Ngurah on the 3rd deck was extremely helpful. when I went on deck without my husband. He always was there to help me with the door The gentleman in charge of our dining area came to all the tables often to greet us and ask us how the food was. He made us feel like a member of the family Team head waiter, Ronald Dias, was absolutely great. His greetings and attention he gave to us was greatly appreciated. Waiter Michael was alway helpful We just hope that the angels who care for us in heaven are all stewards from the Cruise ship Carnival Freedom.

Yes! We were so glad that our stateroom was near the elevators. It made everything aboard the room assessable.

It was great. Yes we went on an excursion to Tulum. I love history. I was so impress with the knowledge and information about the Mayan history and culture that our guide provided. He himself was Mayan and spoke the Mayan language fluently.

Everything went smoothly . Everyone was courteous and helpful all the way through the whole process. My wife and I felt somewhat sad that our cruise was over
