Review summary

It started off bad when we got our keys. The travel told me when we booked the rooms dhe pit us on thr same floor. Which was not true I was on the 6th floor my children was on the 1st floor.

An adult has to be booked in any room with kids under the age of 18. They would not have had the ability to do that.

How could you not know that you were on separate floors? All you had to do was look up the cabin numbers or when given the cabin numbers you would have known by the numbers. E.g. 8024 and 8664 means same deck number, so if the first number in the cabin assignments are not the same then you are on different decks

9 cruises all self booked directly with carnival.

Book directly with Carnival. You can pick your rooms if you pick that package selection. Saves a lot of headache and you are prepared for what to expect.

i agree with jbbinder. it seems like from posts on this app that the issues usually occur with bookings purchased through travel agencies vs directly through cruiseline.

Book yourself through Carnival next time. Very easy, and you are guaranteed to get the best rates.
