Review summary

Cruise staff was nice, our room location 6371 was awful. We were above an area where music was played from 10:00am to 01:00am. The noise was awful which the Purser verified (very loud music and vibration) The purser recommended ear plugs which we supplied our self. We could still hear the noise and feel the vibration, unacceptable. The minimal compensation we received was not acceptable for the discomfort we received. We have sailed on many Carnival Cruises (this was our 31st cruise) and never experienced any thing like this before.

We were above an area where music was played from10:00am to 01:00am. Complained to Purser who verified noise and vibration, he suggested ear plugs which did not help much. We supplied our own ear plugs which did not help much with the noise and vibration. This was our 31st cruise many being on Carnival Cruise Line. Never experienced this before, very uncomfortable. Compensation we received was very minimal and unacceptable.

I agree 30 plus cruises, I'm sure you had a favorite. On my 1st cruise the cabin was great so I try to get the same floor and room at least as close to it as possible. You are a veteran cruiser no excuse, it's not Carnivals fault all yours.

And I think you were right above the casino live band area. Those cabins will always have noise.

location, location, location. deck plans. research. after 30 cruises you should know better. you shouldn't have gotten any reimbursement, in my opinion. if you booked through carnival, it tells you which cabins will experience noise. if you used a TA, they should've informed you about the location.
