Review summary

Wasn't sure what to expect on my 1st cruise...met family for a 50th wedding anniversary. Dinner (formal room) was GREAT the 1st night...after that they went downhhill. My chair broke on the 2nd day at sea and nothing was done or tended to...and I got hurt. Experienced cruise goers said how bad their experience on this ship was...one of the shows...piano bar...I walked out of. The 80s show was great. Caymen Island tour was disorganized...if I do another cruise I won't be on Freedom...maybe not even Carnival

We just got off the Freedom yesterday. 14 days of pure fun! Staff and crew were most friendly people! We have been on the Magic, Sunshine and Glory. We have enjoyed all our cruises. Plan to go on the Breeze in October. Sorry you had a bad experience.

We sailed on the freedom in September & had a blast ... liked it better than the magic ... didn't seem as crowded & loved the stadium seating ... it's all just personal preference... it's vacation ... just relax & have fun ð³â

That would stink to have your chair break. Looks like the other reviewers had a good time on your cruise. Too bad your experience was not so good, especially since having a good or bad time costs you the same.

The Freedom wasn't bad for me, just "okay". On the subject of the piano bar - I've yet to find one I'm comfortable in. Those guys always just seem a little bit off.

We returned from our 7 day cruise on the Freedom just two weeks ago & it was amazing from beginning to the endð. So ready to sail again!ð³

I went on that ship years ago and it was great then. I normally pay extra and go on the newer ships. We enjoyed the breeze. going on the Vista time and next the horizon.
