Review summary

there were over 2500 people on this boat and a pool the size of a bathtub u could not get into the pool without being kicked or touched by someone, way to much alcohol and cigarette smoking. The food was only decent other than the melting chocolate cake, but lots of it. we had two ten year old girls with us,we just didn't feel the atmosphere was kid appropriate at all.

No way would I be on the boat at spring break..lol..frat part 24/7

That is not saying everyone is like that. But it seems to me more of a party boat mentality. I took my 10 year old daughter on the Fascination in January of 2009 and we had a great time. But I've heard from many people that it's usually more rowdy especially in the summer time and spring break.

I guess because I go on fascination at Christmas I don't experience a bad time with people. But then again, the Christmas and also the New Years cruises are kinda pricey. We booked our cruise for this Christmas 6 months in advance, the same exact cruise the week before us, is 320pp less. Last Christmas cruise, nothing but very nice people, not a lot of children, but some.

You'll find on the shorter duration, less expensive cruises a lot more partying and people acting very low class. It's like they scraped together their $200 and they're going to make everyone miserable to prove it! The Fascination is also and older, smaller ship. The newer larger ships feel much more roomy.

And, pay 3x the price! But, it really is to each his own.
