Small, Dirty, Old Ship

Sail Date: January 03, 2015

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The bedrooms were way too small, and dirty.  Everything on the ship seemed dirty and dated.  Also, I think it is ridiculous that they charge for soda!  Their private island was shade provided, unless you wanted to pay for it, again ridiculous!  On Disney's private island umbrellas are free and on their ship, soda is free...and their ships are spotlessly clean.  I will NEVER take another Carnival cruise again.  Oh, and my husband got a stomach virus on board!

Ship Quality
Old, Dirty
Food and Dining
Menu was limited, not much variety
Service and Staff
They don't know how to clean, apparently.
Completely cheesy
Children's Programs
Don't know how to deal with a crying child, so if your child cries, they immediately call you to come get him/her.
Onboard Activities
Small ship, so not much to do.
Destinations and Excursions
Their private island had no shade unless you wanted to pay for it, and their foot washers were broken.
Jacksonville, Florida
Nassau, Bahamas
Favorite thing was the Blue Lagoon Private Beach Excursion, but it left an hour later than we were supposed to, so that wasn't cool.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
