A Great Travel Bargain!

Sail Date: March 12, 2007

Room Type: Oceanview

As a first-time cruiser and didn't know what to expect. I was delighted with my experience on the Fascination. I was amazed at the quality and quantity of food available. The ship's employees were extremely friendly and welcoming with smiles aplenty. The only two negatives that I have to mention are the price of alcoholic and soft drinks aboard the ship and the short time we had at our ports.

Pros: The food was wonderful and the excursions were great also.

Cons: The drink prices were too expensive.

The excursion that takes you to the Mayan ruins of Tulum and Xel Ha was a winner! It was a steal for all the beauty that you witness in a 7or 8 hour period. Our guide Tito was informative and also very entertaining.

A high-end shop called "Little Switzerland" was exciting to visit. Diamonds International was a beautiful place for precious stones and diamonds. Sloppy Joe's Bar was an interesting stop. Pepe's Cuban Restaurant was dissappointing.
