Review summary

This was our second cruise. It's the only way to go. A few things have changed since our last trip in 2000. The upgrade to the 'Sail & Sign' card makes things very convenient. Self-dembarkation is GREAT! Easy and fast, and much appreciated when you have to catch an early flight. Carnival are truly FUN SHIPS !

Food and Dining

The first 2 nights in our dining room we felt rushed by our waiter. We asked to be moved to another table and the service was excellent, servers were fun and chatted with us and let us linger over coffee or drinks as long as we wanted. Maitre'd to thank for that, very accommodating. Food not as great as we remembered, but still very good.

Didn't partake in much of the shows, just one and it was good! Captains Cocktail party was good too!

Stateroom was excellent - we were right at the front of the ship, so a bit noisy when we docked early one morning, but it was time to get up anyway! Slightly more rocking movement than in the middle of ship, but it didn't bother us at all. But a note to those who might think the motion would bother them - ask for a mid-ship stateroom.

I really enjoyed Key West - just a laid back place to see. The freebies (coupons) from the Shopping Guy were great - Margaritaville a must to see - just to say you've been there. The trolley tour is great too!

Don't Miss: The Pearl Shop

this was our first time there - very nice - although didn't get a chance to go downtown - again the freebies from the shopping guy would have been great, but didn't have time. The water is absolutley stunning, great picture opportunites - the terminal is very clean!

Don't Miss: Bargain with the vendors & walk away - they will come after you & you'll get your price.

Pros: So much fun in one place

Cons: Dinner in the Dining Room not up to par
