Review summary

We did a price change and found out once we got onboard found out Carnival had not honored it, then they didn’t refund us fully for a cancelled excursion, then tried to keep our money left on S&D card-threatened to put a hold on our card bc we asked for our money back. We felt scammed. Cruising is strictly seasoned cruiser friendly. There is no info for new cruisers. So disappointing.

Our room steward was great. Our MDR waitress was terrible-it took over an hour to get food. We only went 3 nights it was so bad.

Perfect except the bathroom smelled bad and the shower kept Scalding us.

Our excursion was cancelled, Carnival did not tell us until we were in line to go. Did not fully refund or offer options. Left us totally unprepared.

It would have been nice if we weren’t bombarded and cheated by hawkers. Loved the old Mexico feel but can’t be enjoyed bc they won’t leave you alone!

You would have been notified long before your cruise if your price protection was honored or not.

Carnival always fully refunds unless YOU cancelled 24 hours before.

Research is your friend when it comes to picking the cruise line and ship that fits your needs. I’m not of Carnival but it doesn’t mean that they are all bad. There are tons of videos on YouTube to help with your research.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. It sounds like cruising may not be for you, or you need to do a little more research to be prepared for some things.
