My expectations were not met. It served its purpose for relaxation though.

Mobile, Al port is old but boarding was easy and we went straight through. Although 90 dollars for offsite parking is outrageous!

Same breakfast buffet every day. Casual dinner items are mostly the same items on the buffet as well not many options.

Onboard Activities

Not what I’m accustomed to with Carnival. Comedy club was ok but seating was terrible l. You literally have to be seated 45 minutes before show unless you plan on standing.The sale away party practically did not exist. We didn’t actually know it was starting because there was no announcement for it and we were already at Sea when they started to play music. The mega deck party was boring it was nothing like the previous cruises I’ve experienced. There was spread or buffet.

Took and hour to call all self assist. Then literally called zones 1- 10 which were all decks at one time.

Yeah, the Fantasy is a old ship, that was my 1st ship in 1996. CARVINAL needs to put her to bed. I was on the MAGIC last September, I could not even imagine going back to the Fantasy..lol..Loved the honest review!👍🏾

Yikes. Our family has cruised several times, but this was my children’s first small ship and 3 of my cousins first cruise (last Nov). We all had a great time. I did prepare my kids that it was nothing like what they were used to, but still had a good time with their cousins and found enough to do to pass the time. They said the pizza was the best, and I personally like the food better than some of the larger ships. I’d sail on the Fantasy again.

We enjoy breakfast/ brunch in the MDR. Light years better than the buffets for sure.
