Review summary

From the time we stepped onto Carnival Fantasy it was a vacation. We were welcomed. There were so many activities to do. The food and the staff were beyond friendly! I was spoiled on this ship. Thanks Pauly & staff for making this a wonderful experience!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was quick and friendly. We were constantly greeted and made to feel welcomed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The ship's dining room service was incredible. The buffets and specialty restaurants sometimes had long lines but the workers did all they could to move them along quickly while engaging with the customers.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
I tried to experience the pool. However, it was always overcrowded. The one chance I did try to enjoy it there was a greasy film which was a huge turn off.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I attended several comedy shows. The comedians where hilarious. I even had my daughter (a teenager) attend a PG show; which she enjoyed. I also attended a trivia show and the game show.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
My teenager decided that she did not want to attend the club. She did attend the PG comedy show and the game show.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I hardly ever saw my room steward. The waiters and other ship personnel were extremely helpful in answering any questions I had or giving me directions around the ship.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It took a minute to get used to the layout. Some floors were inaccessible by certain elevators and others had areas that had to be detoured around. The personnel kept all common areas clean throughout the entire cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was a nice size. It was tricky to maneuver around the pull down bed since once it was unlocked it could not be folded back up. The room was clean, the only drawback was the shower curtain was dingy.

Ports of call

Mobile, Alabama

1 out of 5
The port workers were extremely rude, demanding, and not professional at all. None of the workers seemed to have any idea what customer service means.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
The people were nice. I did not participate in any excursions, but my daughter went snorkeling. I just enjoyed the beach.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
I was leaving the boat which had an amazing staff; so sad. The disembarkation seemed unorganized. We started in two lines not knowing it should have only been one. I was in the line to claim my bags. Others were in the same line however, they had luggage.
