Review summary

It was our first time cruising. We had a good time exploring new places and enjoyed what the ship had to offer. The staff were amazing. They really went out of their way to welcome us, make sure we had what we needed, and made sure our kids were happy. We unfortunately got VERY ill the final day of the cruise, which put a damper on the whole trip, but even then the staff were so kind about it and tried to help as much as possible.

Great staff. My kids loved it and it was such a nice option to have when they were ready for some basic playing with toys/coloring time/out-of-the-sun time.

Really tried to go above and beyond you could tell. If my kids were fussing, someone would always bend down to speak to them or make them laugh.

They really did a good job, but with so many people, it's nearly impossible I'm sure. We all got a stomach bug on the last day, which kind of put a damper on the whole trip. And the ship is quite old.

We visited capital city of Merida, which was really fun. We had to wait a long time to get on a shuttle (excursion information said 30 minutes after landing, but we had to wait 1.5 hours). But the tour guide was great and we got to see a lot of the city. It's a newer port so people are very pushy to sell things. Just prepare to say "no." We could walk to the beach after getting to the AutoProgresso terminal.

Beautiful port. Didn't even need to do an excursion, but we did Mr Sanchos, which was wonderful. All-inclusive with pools, beaches, and more. Not a long drive to and from Port. Allowed some flexibility as you can get your own taxi to and from.
