Review summary

We hope to cruise with Carnival again but probably on a different ship. We chose the Fantasy because of how close we were to Mobile. Next time we will definitely consider the different amenities offered on each ship. We will also have a balcony- enjoying the scenery was high on our list of things to do. We found it funny, when halfway through the cruise, we realized this was the exact ship we had taken for our honeymoon cruise in 2008.

The shows we attended were great! The comedians were actually funny. The marriage and love show was busy-your-gut funny. The best was the service member recognition. It was so cool to hear from those who had served or were serving in the armed forces.

Service and Staff

Despite being on a really old ship, the staff was first class. Benjamin, the cruise director, was absolutely hilarious! The wait staff would dance with us at dinner. It was a great time!

Ship Quality

It is the oldest ship carnival has and you can tell. There in one small pool for the whole ship. Some parts, like the Cleopatra bar, had a distinct moldy smell.
