The food is great, but if you plan on swimming, plan to be annoyed by too many children. If you plan on going in the hot tub, plan to go to the adult only area where kids are not allowed. I would give them a 5 if they hadn’t chose white customers behind me to take their orders first. Cleaning staff was amazing.

The food was great, and for the most part the staff were really friendly and seemed to love their jobs. There were a couple times I felt like white customers in line were served first regardless of me being in front of them. This happen a couple of times on the ship and it happen when we were paying for our excursion in Costa Maya.

Of course there is a lot to do on the ship... but there were only two hot tubs and one pool in the main area. The pool was tiny, so the kids splashing everywhere and getting in the hot tubs with floaties and stepping all over you was really obnoxious! I can’t believe they expect over 2thousand people/families to be able to enjoy that. I think they should either have more pools, make them bigger, and/or have stricter rules about the hot tubs!

Could have definitely saved money and just stayed on the port, but I didn’t see anywhere you could get in the ocean water. They have so much to do at the port you could comfortably hang there. This is where we were the first people in line, but the man took the white family before us. We did a beach excursion that had unlimited drinks the beach was beautiful, our waiter was awesome, but the water was filled with seaweed and it smelled kinda bad. I couldn’t wear that swimsuit the rest of the trip without remembering Costa Maya lol!
I wish the pools were bigger too but then again, I guess the thinking is that you will play in the water at the ports. I think there are fewer children if you go when school is in session.
