C.D. Mikey was amazing, food was disgusting, Carnival has gotten cheap on service and food quality. We were so disappinted!!This was my 4th cruise with Carnival but I think we're going to try RC next time.

The food was bad! Worst part lf thr trip!! Im a very proud member of the "clean plate club". The Lido food was the usual but the dining room was just nasty. Squishy shrimp, old steak or something was very off with it. My son and i took a bite and we shared a look of horror! We complained but we didn't replace it with anything; that was out last night and we were done. The lasagna made me gag. Even people sharing our shuttle brought up the terrible food and we concurred!
Onboard Activities

Out cruise director Mikey was amazing!! He was everywhere!! Loved him. We took our family and was excited about the "family deck games" and there weren't any! It was cold but 2 kids did water slides and swam. Hot tubs were always packed so I didn't do that.
Entertainment

DJ Cruze was great. Him and Mikey made a great team! Loved the Mardi gras party. There were a couple of ladies singing in the atrium bar. They sang THE SAME SONGS every single time! That was disappointing. Spent most nights in the comedy club. Jamie Lissow and Scotty K were awesome! Our deaf/blind son went with us and we introduced them. It was really great.

My kids are very shy and quiet so they stick with us.

We got stuck back by the kitchen. That was awful. Our head waiter and his 2 attendants were great. Bread was late coming out most nights though.
Room Stewatd: Carnival has gotten cheap. No more chocolates and cheap pens (silly I know but we've become used to these things!) We hated having to choose one time for him to clean our room. I loved having the bed made and I loved returning to my bed being turned down with a towel animal. We were very disappointed with that. We used to have a bucket of ice when we returned in for bed but now there's no ice bucket so we have to go clear up on the Lido and bring ice to our room.
Ship Quality

They were always clean. I like the smaller ships bc not as much walking and easy to get around. 8 of us were traveling and we always ran into one another.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was hard as a rock! I couldn't wait to get off the boat and get a good meal and my soft bed. The room was cleaned in the morning and he always did a nice job.
Ship tip
Don't expect to much. Yes it's a small ship which I prefer but carnival has gotten cheap! Food quality has tanked, appeared room stewards had more rooms to clean so we didn't get the personal care we've been used to. No turn dowm service, chocolates or an ice bucket.
We got off the ship and visited a booth for the Technotel. It was $35pp, all inclusive with transportation. My 10 year old was $22 and my 8 year old was free. But everyone wants a tip so take note. Bring your 1's and 5's. This was our 3rd time to Progreso. They try but it's nothing like Cozumel.
We scheduled the dune buggy tour. Unfortunately the beaches were closed due to weather but our guide found us a little place at Turtle Beach. We love Cozumel!!
It's never been anything to "write home about" I concur but the dining room food was a huge disappointment. Our steak tastes spoiled and they cooked and SERVED it anyways. We were done after that. But we're a large family and our buck goes far on Carnival for sure. But i don't feel it should be a trade off. "You get what you pay for"; we saved for 6 months and I feel we deserve better quality.
So sorry leila ive warned people about carnival this boat especially had awful time on the fantasy dirty bad food rude employees and had to stop fight by pizza place because kids were present
